Spun Aluminum Dome Pendant Light
1950s ModernistMid-Century Modern

Spun Aluminum Dome Pendant Light

Inspired by the industrial beauty of mid-century American factory lighting — reworked for the contemporary dining room or kitchen island — this spun aluminum dome pendant celebrates the material it is made from. The shade is formed from a single disc of 1.5 mm aluminium, spun on a lathe to produce the shallow dome profile with a precision that casting cannot match. The inner face is powder-coated in warm white to maximise light diffusion, while the exterior is left in natural brushed aluminum that develops a gentle patina over time. A 2 m braided fabric cable in black or white connects to a standard ceiling rose. The E27 socket accepts bulbs up to 100W; a 6W filament-style LED is included. Available in three diameters: 35 cm (bedside, single), 45 cm (dining table single or in pairs), and 55 cm (statement single). Ceiling canopy and all mounting hardware included. IP20 rating; interior use only.

Walnut & Brass Console Table
1950s American ModernMid-Century Modern

Walnut & Brass Console Table

The console table occupies the threshold spaces of the home — the hallway that receives you, the living room wall that anchors a sofa, the dining room side that holds serving dishes — and this walnut and brass design rises to every occasion. The top is a single solid walnut plank, 28 mm thick, with a bookmatched grain centred on the 120 cm length. The four legs are turned from solid walnut before being fitted with adjustable brass sabots — conical feet in polished brass that elevate the piece visually and recall the hardware of late-1950s American furniture studios. A lower shelf, constructed from the same walnut stock, provides a landing for books, objects, or a basket. The narrow 35 cm depth makes it suitable for hallways as tight as 90 cm wide. Oil-wax finish; the brass will develop a living patina over time. Lacquered brass option available for those who prefer a static finish.

Tufted Leather Swivel Task Chair
1960s Executive ModernMid-Century Modern

Tufted Leather Swivel Task Chair

Referencing the executive offices of 1960s corporate modernism — where authority was expressed through quality materials and restrained silhouette — this tufted leather swivel chair brings the same considered presence to the contemporary home office. The seat and backrest are upholstered in full-grain aniline leather, button-tufted in a 3×3 grid with hand-stitched seaming at the bolsters. The five-star base in polished cast aluminum carries four-directional casters suited to both hard floors and carpet. Seat height adjusts from 45 cm to 55 cm via a pneumatic gas lift rated for 150,000 actuations. Tilt mechanism with forward lean stop, recline tension adjustment, and 360° swivel. Armrests are height- and width-adjustable to within 2 cm. Leather offered in cognac, black, and deep navy. A chair that commands the room it occupies.

Shell Lounge Chair in Walnut & Bouclé
1950s American ModernMid-Century Modern

Shell Lounge Chair in Walnut & Bouclé

Inspired by mid-century American modernism, this shell lounge chair distills the movement's most enduring proposition: that great design can be both sculpturally bold and exceptionally comfortable. The seat shell is formed from moulded plywood clad in thick bouclé fabric — a tactile, looped textile that adds warmth and visual depth. Four solid walnut dowel legs, set at a slight outward angle, echo the splayed stances that defined the era. The proportions are intimate — wide enough to sit cross-legged, low enough to feel relaxed — making this chair as much a reading nook as a design statement. Place it beside a standard floor lamp with a cone shade for a scene straight from a 1957 interior spread. Available in natural walnut or ebonised finish; bouclé offered in cream, sage, and warm grey. Seat height 42 cm. Suitable for domestic and light commercial use.

Six-Drawer Dresser in American Walnut
1950s American ModernMid-Century Modern

Six-Drawer Dresser in American Walnut

Inspired by the clean cabinetry of mid-century American studios, this six-drawer dresser in solid American walnut is an investment in daily ritual. The carcass is constructed from full-stave walnut — not veneer — with dovetail drawer joints that will outlast several generations of ownership. Three rows of two drawers, each fitted with a single turned walnut pull, create a satisfying graphic rhythm across the front face. Drawers ride on solid wood runners finished with a paste-wax lubricant for a smooth, silent action. The tapered hairpin legs in blackened steel — a period-accurate detail — lift the piece off the floor and allow light to pass beneath, visually reducing its mass in smaller bedrooms. The top surface, lightly radiused at the corners, doubles as a generous display shelf for a mirror, lamp, and ceramics. Oil-wax finish. Dimensions accommodate folded clothing for two.

Round Dining Table in Solid Walnut — 120 cm
1950s American ModernMid-Century Modern

Round Dining Table in Solid Walnut — 120 cm

A round dining table in solid American walnut — this is an heirloom proposition. The top is book-matched from two consecutive walnut slabs, creating a mirror-image grain pattern at the centre joint that rewards close attention. The single pedestal base, turned on a lathe and finished with tapered feet in the tradition of late-1950s American Modern cabinetry, keeps the floor plan open and allows chairs to be pulled in from any angle. At 120 cm diameter, the table comfortably seats four and can accommodate six with careful placement. The oil-wax finish deepens the walnut's natural chocolate-red tones while remaining repairable — a scratch or wine ring can be sanded back and re-oiled at home. Made from FSC-certified walnut. As each top is cut from a different tree, grain pattern and colour saturation will vary. Matching bench and chairs available separately.
